Flock by Kate Stewart - Review
Just finished Flock by Kate Stewart... whew! First, the initial prolog had me very confused... It was wordy and I was confused. But, thank goodness I kept going. Flock is one of those stories that grabs you and refuses to let go. It’s intense, it’s SO emotional, and it’s the kind of book that will wreck you... in the best way possible.
This book is set in a small town crammed with secrets, this story is so much more than just a romance. It’s about temptation, rebellion, and diving headfirst into something you know is dangerous and outside the norm. The “good girl falls for the bad boys” trope? YUP. Just add in a secret society and a level of mystery that keeps you glued to the pages? Obsessed.
The characters were so well-written it felt like I knew them. The MMC's and FMC's chemistry? Through the roof! And the way the story builds... its amazing to have the ability to have a quick relationship and a SLLOOOWW burn in the same book, absolutely masterful. And then… that ending. Oh. My. Heart. I finished this book in pieces, gutted, emotional, and already desperate for more (Yes, I started Exodus!)
If you love dark romance, forbidden attraction, secret societies, and heart-wrenching twists, you need this book. It’s passionate, raw, and unforgettable. Kate Stewart knew what she was doing with this one, and wow, did she deliver.
