Quicksiver by Callie Hart - Review
Oh my gosh, Quicksilver was a total ride and I ate up every second of it! From page one, I was hooked on Saeris—she’s clever, snarky, and just the right amount of reckless. One minute, she’s picking pockets and stealing water, and the next? Boom. She’s in some frozen fae land with a bunch of seriously dangerous people who definitely do not want her there.
And then there’s Kingfisher. Broody? Yep. Secretive? Oh, for sure. Total dark book boyfriend, YESSSS! Kind of the worst but also maybe the best? Absolutely. The way he and Saeris get under each other’s skin had me absolutely dying! And don’t even get me started on the tension between them because whew, I was feeling this slow burn. Add in some wild magic, metal working, life-or-death stakes, and a world that felt so vivid, and you’ve got a book that’s impossible to put down.
If you love badass heroines, reluctant allies, and fantasy worlds that totally pull you in, this one’s for you. It’s kinda like ACOTAR meets The Hunger Games, but with way more chaos, sass, and magic. Seriously, you need this book in your life!
