Blood of Hercules by Jasmine Mas - Review

Alright, so this book had so much potential. A foster kid finding out she’s actually Hercules in a world ruled by god-like Spartans? I was ready. The setting? Dark and brutal. The academy? Straight-up dangerous. The characters? Mysterious, powerful, and full of drama. There was action, there was tension, and there was definitely some obsession going on. I mean, hello hot book boyfriend...

But man… this thing dragged. Like, I swear I read the same story over and over... Just when I thought something new was about to actually happen, it was back to the same cycle. And the love interests? Meh. They were there, but I didn’t feel anything for them. No butterflies, no frustration, just… nothing. Also, the plot? Wayyy too predictable. I was waiting for that jaw-dropping moment, but it never came.

Look, if you’re into dark academia, power struggles, and morally gray, possessive love interests, you might vibe with this one. But for me? It just didn’t fully work for me... I just don't get the hype. I may still read the nex book in the series, just for this authors hilarious writing, but I pray for a better book!
